"I have lived in Hildenborough and Tonbridge all my life, the last 24 years in north Tonbridge with my wife and two children both of whom were at schools in Tonbridge, and who are now at universities. I qualified as a solicitor in 1984 and for the last 30 years have been a partner in a local firm. I have represented the Cage Green ward on the Borough Council since 2007 and have a particular interest in planning and environmental affairs and recycling. I chair the committee which deals with those aspects of the Council’s business. I also represent the Council on Tonbridge & Malling Leisure Trust which is responsible for the Borough’s swimming pools, golf club and leisure centre. I am vice-chair of the governors of Tonbridge Grammar School and am an enthusiastic supporter of Tonbridge Juddians Rugby Club."
